Gerardo Mosquera, artistic director of the PHotoEspaña festival, this year invited the VERBUND COLLECTION to show the feminist focal point. Gabriele Schor, founding director of the VERBUND COLLECTION, describes the feminist art movement of the 1970s as “Feminist Avant-Garde” in order to emphasise the collective pioneering role of the female artists of the time. She is convinced that “many female artists of the Feminist Avant-Garde are still to be discovered”.
