Overview of the past exhibition programme of the VERBUND COLLECTION in the Vertical Gallery in Vienna, as well as in national and international museums and exhibition houses.
The exhibition ‘Feminist Avant-Garde’, which ran from 28 March to 28 June 2026, showcased around 60 groundbreaking works by female artists of the 1970s from the SAMMLUNG VERBUND for the first time outside Europe, complemented by selected works from the collection of the Museu de Arte Contemporânea in São Paulo.
Care and support form the foundation of human coexistence. Curated by Gabriele Schor, the exhibition, which ran from 12 March to 28 June 2026, explored the fundamental nature of care work.
From 25 July to 28 September 2025, the SAMMLUNG VERBUND was a guest at the Sprengel Museum in Hanover with the exhibition STAND UP! FEMINIST AVANT-GARDE OF THE 1970s.
From 4 April to 6 July 2025, the ALBERTINA presented the exhibition FRANCESCA WOODMAN, Works from the SAMMLUNG VERBUND in Vienna.
From 22 March to 26 June 2025, the SAMMLUNG VERBUND presented the exhibition STAND UP! FEMINIST AVANT-GARDE OF THE 1970s at the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart.
From 26 September 2024 to 2 February 2025, the SAMMLUNG VERBUND presented the exhibition Cindy Sherman. The Early Works 1975 - 1980 at the Fotomuseum Antwerpen.
The SAMMLUNG VERBUND presented the exhibition 20 Years of the VERBUND COLLECTION at the Albertina from February 29 to May 5, 2024.

On March 20, 2023 we opened the first solo exhibition in Austria of the French artist ORLAN in our Vertical Gallery.

From July 4 to September 25, 2022, the SAMMLUNG VERBUND was a guest at Rencontres d'Arles with the exhibition "A Feminist Avant-Garde".

The VERBUND COLLECTION presented the exhibition "Feminist Avant-Garde of the 1970s" at the Museum of Contemporary Art Vojvodina from May 20 to June 21, 2022.
From September 24, 2021 to January 9, 2022, Lentos presented the exhibition Female Sensibility. Feminist Avant-Garde from the VERBUND COLLECTION.

From February 19 to March 2020, the SAMMLUNG VERBUND, Vienna, presented the group exhibition MADE IN AUSTRIA with 16 Austrian positions of the feminist avant-garde.
On July 18, 2019, the CCCB in Barcelona opened the exhibition L'Avantguarda Feminista dels anys 70. Obres de la VERBUND COLLECTION, Viena.
